This week we celebrated Halloween in the English class and our students had a lot of fun. 

They first watched a presentation about Halloween and The day of the dead, given by Isabel, our language assistant. Then, they played a Kahoot game by answering questions that were based on this presentation. 

The students also played a game where they had to draw a monster as a class and follow Isabel's instructions. This way they revised basic parts of the body.

And last, they participated in an oral activity in which one student had to describe a witch and another student had to guess who the witch was. With this last activity students could put into practice some vocabulary they had already learnt in Unit 1 of English to describe hair .

Let me introduce you to our new language assistant. Her name is Isabel and she is from the United States. She started in our school last Thursday. 

Before that, she recorded a beautiful video presentation about herself so that our students could get to know her a little bit more.

After watching her presentation, the students worked on some questions that they were willing to ask Isabel when they met her in person.

Yesterday, she came in fourth grade B's classroom for the first time and the students had the opportunity to ask her their questions. And today was the turn for fourth grade A.

She is so nice! We are very lucky to have Isabel in our school.

 Sabrina, our language assistant, also wanted to express her gratitude to the school with this beautiful farewell video.

 Yesterday, our dear language assistant, Sabrina Stegall, finished her stay at our school. She has performed her job with great enthusiasm and professionalism. We wish her all the best at her next school.
